This collection uses negatives that expired in 1988. In 2015, I started photographing with these negatives to represent signs of presence of Iran's human conditions which is obvious or hidden. It seems corruption from these negatives is rooted in the historical memory of the people of this land. During these years, it can be searched for specific signs of this corruption, from the major issues of the administration of the country and the environment to today's human relations. These negatives should be used before 1988 and today they were referenced years later. But the nature of photography is to always refer us to the past and to death by definition; in this particular case we refer to the future; the future is as distorted and imaginary as these images. 1988 is a year in the political and social history of Iran where events such as the end of the eight years of Iran-Iraq war and the settlement of bitter domestic political accounts of that time.
