Oct 10, 2024: It was just another family vacation, the usual stress hanging over it like a storm cloud. The 5am pint of Peroni at the airport was a sweet relief, just as I remembered, calming my nerves. Two weeks in the sun, no worries at all. It was going to be pure bliss. On my third pint, memories of the Tezos world started creeping back. The sentiment was down in the dumps, the price was tanking, but I felt calm. All coins were getting battered by user frustration; we couldn't catch a break. Marketing through social media wasn't going to fix what was fundamentally broken, so a short break made sense. Just a week before the vacation, I'd started to re-engage with the community after some much-needed downtime. A like here, a share there, and things were picking up steam again. We hadn't disappeared; we'd just taken a breather! It was a nice thought until it was shattered by a sudden panic about maintaining momentum for our beloved project while I was away. I began to daydream in panic mode, imagining my wife's scolding while we were supposed to be enjoying the sun. "What could be so important?" she'd say. My response, something about "the guys, the trenches," wouldn't likely be met with either A) approval or B) comprehension. I needed something, someone, anything to help keep up momentum. Little did I know it would come in the form of a Pedro shaped savior. tezospepe.com
