During a hectic work trip to Tokyo, my evenings became a precious respite. Despite COVID's shadow dimming Tokyo's once pulsating weekday nightlife, the streets beckoned, promising stories to be captured. Hours of exploration left me with images, yet none truly spoke of the city's essence. As the night drew to a close under the tracks of the Shinbashi metro station, patrons spilled from the bars. As taxis lined up, bathed in the glow of the bar street, I saw an opportunity. Moving closer, I captured the silhouettes of waiting passengers mirrored in a taxi's window.
