Bali is a magical place When you spend more than vacation time in a place you start to see collages emerging Time past & present, culture new & old 'Sell or Be Sold' Bali was, until recent years, self sufficient as an island. Farming rice and raising livestock sustained generations but pressure to sell land for tourist developments have seen families sometimes forcibly evicted and displaced. Those that cannot farm have to make a living and ironically often end up selling souvenirs or snacks to the very tourists to survive. This is an experimental photo collage from images I shot during my time living in Bali. The original inspiration for this collection artwork 'Heritage Rituals' was minted for Objkt4Objkt
